Meet the Artists: Harmanie Taylor, Duck Dance Ensemble

Harmanie Taylor is an integrated dance artist based in Vancouver, BC with All Bodies Dance. Previously based in Edmonton, Harmanie has been actively involved in the integrated dance movement as a dancer, performer, teacher, mentor and organizer since 2006. She has had the pleasure of studying with such dance companies such as Candoco Dance Company, Amici Dance Theatre, MoMo Mixed Ability Dance Theatre, and DanceAbility International and is happy to be an extended member of CRIPSiE. When she was not dancing in Edmonton she was organizing fundraisers and events for the Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Northern Alberta’s NoLimits Peer Support program. In August 2014, Harmanie relocated to Vancouver is now working for Wheelin’ Mobility as a Special Projects Coordinator. She holds a BA in Dramatic Arts from the University of Lethbridge and an Arts and Cultural Management certificate from MacEwan University. Harmanie loves integrated dance because it challenges to her to keep pushing herself and her body and the limitless possibilities that can be achieved through dance.
